My Natural No Makeup Makeup Tutorial
STEP 1: TINTED MOISTURIZER
The first step is to even out your skin tone. With this look, we want to achieve a luminous complexion without hiding your skins natural texture. I like to mix a dollop of liquid foundation with my morning moisturizer to create a custom tinted moisturizer. I use the EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush to buff the tinted moisturizer into my skin and achieve a flawless finish! The EcoTools Skin Perfecting Brush is part of the EcoTools Complexion Collection, which is a makeup-skincare hybrid line that helps to improve your skin and enhance your natural beauty. The small, dense bristles on this brush are perfect for applying sheer foundations like tinted moisturizer or BB cream, and the price seriously can’t be beat! I use my fingers to dot the tinted moisturizer around my face and blend the product over my skin with the brush. This step doesn’t hide your freckles or your skin’s natural quirks- it just reduces redness and makes your skin look smooth and well-rested.STEP 2: CONCEALER
I have ridiculous under eye circles, so I rarely step out the door without concealer. I like to use the Maybelline Fit Me concealer with the EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Makeup Brush to camouflage my dark circles! I use the concealer’s wand to place the concealer on my face, and then I’ll blend out the product with the EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Makeup Brush. This brush is perfect for getting into the small areas underneath your eye, and the bristles are so soft that they won’t tug at the delicate skin under your eyes.STEP 3: SETTING POWDER
Once my tinted moisturizer and concealer are perfectly applied, it’s time to lock them in place. The Coty Airspun powder applied with the EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush is an unbeatable combo to provide extra staying power to your look! The EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush might be the softest makeup brush I’ve EVER used, and it’s the perfect brush for applying pressed or loose powder. If you can only buy one brush for your back to school makeup kit, buy this one!STEP 4: BRONZER & BLUSH
Now that we’ve evened out our skin tone, it’s time to bring back a little color! I’ve been using the EcoTools Bamboo Bronzer Brush and EcoTools Stippling Makeup Brush throughout the past week, and I’ve fallen in love! To give my skin a bit of color and a natural glow, I add a light dusting of Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Dance around the sides of my face and under my cheekbones and jawline with the EcoTools Bamboo Bronzer Brush. This brush is the perfect size for applying bronzer, and the bristles blend the product evenly. Next, I add a light color to my cheeks with the EcoTools Stippling Makeup Brush and Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Blush in Natural. Whenever you want to give a more subtle wash of color, opt for a stippling brush!STEP 5: EYESHADOW & MASCARA
Now it’s time to highlight and subtly contour our eyes using the Ecotools Eye Enhancing Duo Makeup Brush Set. If you’re looking for a collection of new eyeshadow brushes, this set is your perfect fit. The double-sided brushes contain all of the different brushes you’ll need for a flawless eye look, and the bristles are incredibly soft and gentle on your eyes. The first step is to cover up discoloration by applying the lightest shade in the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Palette 1 with the fluffy flat brush from the Ecotools Eye Enhancing Duo Makeup Brush Set. Then I use the longer crease brush to blend the light tan shade into the crease of my eye. I use one of the medium brown shades in the palette with a thin, flat, and short-bristled brush to lightly line my upper and lower lids. Using eyeshadow and a brush instead of eyeliner helps to define your eyes, but the look is extremely natural! The final step in this natural eye look is apply two coats of Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara. I like my lashes to be a little bit bold, so I always apply at least two coats of black mascara. If you’re looking for an extremely natural makeup look, choose a brown mascara and only apply one coat!STEP 6: LIPSTICK
The last step in my no makeup makeup look is to apply a nude lipstick. I love to use crayon lipstick because it’s so quick and easy to apply, and the formula of the Burt’s Bees lip crayons is one of my favorites!
The finished makeup look is subtle and naturally radiant, and it just looks like the best version of YOU. The no makeup makeup technique is perfect for long days at school or the office, and it’s great because people will compliment your natural beauty instead of your makeup!
It’s impossible to achieve a natural look without the right brushes. If you’re looking for new makeup brushes that are affordable and effective, try out the EcoTools line!
