I think I’ve developed some sort of hair dysmorphia problem. No matter how long my hair grows, it always seem short to me. For reference, my hair is about six inches below my shoulder. Not only will split ends lead to tangles and frizz, but the split ends can weaken the hair shaft until it ultimately breaks. You’ve spent months and months growing your hair out, and you don’t want to waste your newly grown locks and have them break off! In addition to reducing the overall length of your hair, breakage can also lead to a decrease in volume. 

That’s what I thought you. You think you just want long hair, but you actually want magazine hair. You want healthy, shiny, bouncy, voluminous hair that’s thick and easy to manage. If you hair is damaged and weak, you’ll have a flat, frizzy mess that’s impossible to style. It’s not an attractive look- believe me.

Look for hair products that are formulated for damaged or weakened hair. Look for the words fragile, breaking,  damaged, weakened, processed, or falling hair on the product’s packaging. Products that add moisture to your hair will keep it looking shiny and soft, but it’s wise to add a strengthening product to your hair care routine. Products featuring keratin or arginine help to reinforce the hair follicle and strengthen your hair to prevent breakage and further damage.

After washing your hair, spray the treatment near the roots of your hair and massage the product gently into your scalp and the roots of your hair. I was a little bit hesitant to spray this product directly on my scalp because most products would leave my roots greasy and flat.
