It seems like I’ll see a picture of one of my favorite actresses at the grocery store, and she’ll look better than I do on my best day. Between balancing two jobs, planning our upcoming move, and surviving my daily to-do list, I really don’t have the time or energy to worry about my makeup. Of course I put a little effort in for special occasions, but on an everyday basis, I want makeup that lasts all day long! I’ve always admired Hayden Panettiere’s natural beauty. She always looks put together and polished. After seeing her All Day Beauty videos for Neutrogena, where she shares her best beauty tips, I raced to Target to pick up some of the products that she swears by.
After a few weeks of playing around with my new Neutrogena makeup, my daytime makeup look couldn’t be quicker or easier. With only a few simple steps, my makeup continues to look fresh and radiant throughout my busy schedule. The first step to any great makeup look is evening out your skin tone. When I have a long planned, I like to use . This medium-coverage foundation blends in like a dream and leaves a natural, skin-like finish. It also includes SPF 20, so your face will also be protected from the sun!
Use your favorite concealer to hide any problem areas. The thankfully covers most of my blemishes, but my undereye circles need a little extra help. I like to mix two different shades of concealer to create the perfect color match for my skin.
My oily skin likes to shine like a discoball in the summer heat and humidity, so I always add a swipe of the . It instantly leaves a natural matte finish, and it helps to control shine throughout the entire day. This powder is an absolute necessity for staying beautiful all day long!
To warm up your complexion, use a fluffy brush to add a light bronzer underneath my cheekbones and a dab of baby pink blush to the apples of my cheeks. During the day, a naturally pretty look is best, so just add a bit of color!
To add brighten your eyes use your finger or a flat eyeshadow brush to pat a pale shimmery shade all over your lid. Then use a fluffy blending brush to blend a matte taupe eyeshadow in the crease of your eye. I recommend using smooth, circular motions to create a blended and natural eye look.
Eyeliner really makes your eyes pop, but you only need a subtle hint of color during the day. I like to use the to draw a light line along my top lash line. The smudge tip on the Neutrogena eyeliner allows you to easily blend the line into your eyeshadow!
For the finishing touch to your eye look, add two coats of . This mascara is incredible. It adds volume, definition, and length with absolutely zero clumping. It’s the perfect everyday mascara!
The final addition to my beautiful daytime look is a natural glossy lip. The adds just the right amount of peachy-pink color and leaves your lips feeling moisturized and smelling like the most delicious fruit smoothie!
Creating a gorgeous all day look doesn’t need to be complicated. When you’re using great products like Neutrogena cosmetics, applying your makeup is basically foolproof. I guarantee you’ll be looking great all day long, no matter how stressful your day may be.
