Must-Have Fall Accessories
A few good accessories can completely change the look of an outfit. A well-placed necklace can make a plain shirt look trendy, and the right stack of bracelets can make even a simple dress seem exciting. As you might be able to guess, I’m an accessories girl through and through. I clean out my closet on a frequent basis, but I always seem to find an excuse to keep my jewelry and handbags. I think it’s the ballerina in me. I can’t say goodbye to anything that sparkles! Stella & Dot recently offered to send me a few pieces from their new fall collection, and I jumped at the opportunity to style these pretty new pieces. I’ll be highlighting all of the jewelry that I received in my next few outfit posts, but I wanted to give you a close-up look at all of the pieces today. I’ve heard that the Stella & Dot fall collection tends to sell out quickly, so I wanted to make sure you all had a chance to pick up some of these pieces while they’re still available.

One of the immediate standouts of the Stella & Dot fall collection was the *. The vintage gold plating is wrapped with real leather, and it’s honestly the perfect fall necklace. It’s casual enough to wear with a t-shirt and jeans, but it looks equally stunning with a little black dress. I can already tell it’s going to be a staple item in my collection.
Another one of my favorite pieces is the *. This handbag is roomy enough to hold all of my work supplies, and it matches everything I own. I’m also completely obsessed with the braided and tassel details on the front of the purse. I tend to switch up my purse on a weekly basis, but this bag could easily be a daily handbag for all of fall and winter if you’re a one purse kind-of gal!

With fall approaching, I’ve been researching new trends and the latest collections from different designers. Across the board, it seems like arrows, arrowheads, and horns are major trends in fall jewelry. I love that Stella & Dot’s fall collection is embracing this trend without making their pieces too edgy. Everything is classic and easy to wear, so that you can keep it for seasons to come.
For example, the* and* are clearly modern and stylish, but they’re not too trendy or intimidating. I’ve been wearing both of these pieces non-stop, so you can expect to see them all over the blog this month. While I love the style of both of these items, I also love how comfortable they are. Maybe it’s just me, but I find that I can’t wear jewelry for more than a few hours without feeling uncomfortable. I do not feel that way with these pieces. The leather lining of the Addison Cuff is so soft on your wrist, and the Pave Horn Ring can be adjusted to fit the width of your finger perfectly. I’ve worn both of these pieces for 10+ hours at a time without experiencing any discomfort. If you’re normally uncomfortable in your jewelry too, I think you’ll really like these pieces!
Speaking of being uncomfortable…is there anything worse than taking out a pair of cheap earrings at the end of the day? I love a bargain as much as anyone else, but I think I’ve officially learned that my ears just don’t agree with un-coated earrings. The* are gold-plated and feather-light, so they don’t irritate my ears at all.
I love the quirky take on traditional hoop earrings, and the ear jacket design means that you can customize these earrings to your preferences. You can wear both pieces together to achieve the look shown above, or you could mix and match one side with another favorite stud earring to create a different design.
One thing that I was surprised to receive was the*. I had no idea that they even made watches, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. This wrap-style watch features a classic black and gold design with subtle arrow detailing. I’m not in the habit of wearing a watch everyday, but I do think it looks really nice stacked with the other bracelets in the collection.
Both necklaces are extremely well-made and have a nice weight to them. Despite the simple design, they look and feel a lot more expensive in person than they actually are. I think these necklaces look incredible with a summer a tan and a cute sundress, but I have a feeling they’ll look even better with cozy sweaters, jeans, and boots in the fall.
The final item that I received was the*, and I have a strong suspicion I’ll be picking up a few extra pairs of these earrings as Christmas gifts for my relatives. They’re a great price point, and they come in the most adorable packaging; however, the main reason I’ll be buying another pair is the simple and lightweight design. You cannot feel these earrings when you’re wearing them. They’re so light it’s crazy, and the classic design is perfect for work or play.
As I just mentioned, all of the Stella & Dot pieces feature absolutely beautiful packaging. Little details like a “hello gorgeous” message before you open the box make me smile, and it’s nice to know that every item is ready to gift!
I have to say that I’m really impressed with all of the Stella & Dot accessories that I’ve tried. I was initially a bit skeptical about the price point since it’s more than I normally spend on jewelry; however, all of the pieces were great quality. Each piece feels really nice, and I haven’t experienced any irritation at all. Keep up the good work, Stella & Dot!
