The Wife Before sounds right up my alley too. Written by a woman of color, the talented Shanora Williams, and features a diverse, multi-racial cast of characters in a thrilling tale. In this suspenseful page turner, the main character deals with trauma around issues of financial insecurity, houselessness, and financial insecurity. It’s recommend for fans of Caroline Kepnes, who is one of my favorite authors, so I cannot wait to read this book!
