When life starts to get crazy, my health and fitness goals tend to fly out the window. It’s just not realistic for me to finish my business errands, plan a move, and secure future work AND cook healthy, delicious meals throughout the day. I wish that I could. I love to cook, and I really do love healthy food. Unfortunately, most of the time my meals are my last priority. I grab whatever’s quickest and whatever’s easiest and decide not to worry about it. All of those “quick and easy” meals tend to add inches to my waistline and leave me without any energy. After seeing way too many of my friends post tempting pictures of Evolution Fresh juices on Instagram, I decided that I should give the line a shot. I picked up a few bottles of Evolution Fresh juice at my local Whole Foods, and I instantly fell head over heels in love.
Evolution Fresh takes raw fruits and vegetables and cold presses them to create the freshest and most delicious juices I’ve ever tasted. After chilling, blending and bottling their juices, High Pressure Processing (HPP) is used to help protect flavors and nutrients. I was really interested in the process, so I looked up this video to see how everything worked! The bottom line is that Evolution Fresh juices basically solved all of my problems. I buy a few bottles every few days, and I have healthy and delicious snacks ready to go. With no added sugars or preservatives, I can feel confident that I’m only drinking fresh fruit and vegetables. Also, the cold-press process keeps the nutrients in the juice!
Evolution Fresh also makes the yummiest snack bars ever. My favorite flavor is the fruit and nut bar, and I love to combine it with Pineapple Coconut Water for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up snack combo! When I’m really busy, I opt to drink the Evolution fresh juices straight out of the bottle, but they can also be used in a variety of fun recipes. The juices make delicious popsicles- simply pour the juice and maybe a bit of chopped fruit into popsicle molds and freeze! Evolution Fresh also has a few recipes for the most delicious sounding cocktails for your summer parties: Spicy Bourbon Sour, Ginger Lime Margarita, and Strawberry Lemonade Daiquiri.
I recently tried out the Strawberry Lemonade Daiquiri recipe, and oh my goodness, it’s perfection for hot summer days! The Evolution Fresh Stawberry Lemonade is outrageously delicious on its own, but the addition of frozen berries, ice, and rum (if you want) really creates a spectacular summer drink!
If you’re a fruit juice lover, I couldn’t recommend the Evolution Fresh juices in Defense Up (orange, pineapple, mango, apple, acerola) and Apple Berry (apple, mango, blueberry, raspberry, coconut, and strawberry) more. No exaggeration, they’re the best tasting juice I’ve ever had!
When I’ve been slacking on my salads and veggie intake, I go for a fruit and veggie juice mix to get a quick boost of nutrition. The Super Green (orange, mango, apple, pineapple, raspberry, spirulina) and Ruby Roots (beet, carrot, orange, cranberry, acerola, ginger, tumeric) both provide the perfect blend of fruit and vegetables. I’m looking forward to trying more of the vegetable blends including the Sweet Greens and Organic V varieties.I’m currently on the lookout for Evolution Fresh’s new flavors (Organic Spicy Lemonade, Coconut Water and Greens, and Sweet Burn), so let me know if you see them in your local grocery stores!
If you’re looking for a healthy snack that will delight your taste buds, I highly recommend the juices from Evolution Fresh.
