Affordable Holiday Outfit Idea + Tips for A Bright Smile
Christmas is only nine days away, which means it’s time to get ready for good food, fun presents, and great times with your family and friends. Oh, and lots and lots of holiday photos. My cousin Michelle can vouch for me when I say that my family goes a little bit crazy with the holiday photos. Our grandmother was a fabulous photographer, and she wanted to make sure that every Christmas moment was documented forever with a photo. While we complained about taking photos as children, it’s incredible to look back at all of our holiday memories as an adult. In fact, Michelle and I have basically taken over the role of family photographer, so we’re the ones who are responsible for getting each family member to pose with their presents, food, siblings, parents…ok, we pretty much make people take photos every five seconds. What can I say? Our grandmother trained us well.
While I think that every photo of someone else is adorable, I’m really picky with photos of myself. The problem mainly has to do with my teeth. After years of braces (AKA torture for my teeth), I have a big smile in almost every photo; however, the shade of my teeth is lackluster. I’m a compulsive Diet Coke drinker, and I’ll admit that I’m not consistent with my teeth whitening routine. Yes, I brush my teeth multiple times a day, but that doesn’t always remove the stains. Over the holidays, I don’t want to be self-conscious about my teeth. I have a huge smile when I’m spending time with my family, and I want to make sure that happiness is documented in each and every holiday photo.
