Lilly Pulitzer Brynn Dress
As a native Floridian, a prep school alum, and a Winter Park High School graduate, there’s no way that I could resist becoming a die-hard fan of Lilly Pulitzer. To me, Lilly can do no wrong. I’m fairly certain they combine sunshine, rainbows, and smiles through some magical process to create their signature prints, and each season I find myself lusting after every single piece in the collection. I love a lot of brands, but Lilly Pulitzer never lets me down. Their designs are the perfect balance of class and whimsy, and I always receive approximately 4,934 compliments when I wear a new Lilly piece. When I was packing for the Southern Blog Society conference last weekend, I wanted to plan outfits that were cute and comfortable. All-day conferences in 90 degree+ heat are not the time to break out the stilettos and mini skirts. At least not for me. I wanted to showcase my personality and make a statement with my outfit, so there was no doubt in my mind that the Lilly Pulitzer Brynn Dress would be coming with me. SHOP THE LOOK:

I mean…just look at it. Fit and flare cut, blue and white ostrich print, detailed neckline…yep, it’s basically me in a dress. It’s perfection. I know that I should have some eloquent fashion blogger-y thing to say about this outfit, but all I can say is that it’s 100% me. The Lilly Pulitzer Brynn Dress will be living in my closet for the rest of time (or until I can’t fit in it anymore- haha), so this post won’t be the last time you see it! Speaking of staples, I added three more items to my wardrobe for the conference: the Tory Burch Perry Tote in Bark, Kendra Scott Elton Bracelet in White Iridescent, and Kendra Scott Elle earrings. Tory Burch and Kendra Scott are just like Lilly Pulitzer. They’re timelessly chic, and a great value for the money.
If you’re on the fence about purchasing any of these items, I’m telling you they’re worth every penny. The Tory Burch Perry Tote is the perfect size and shape for everyday use, and the pebbled leather is ridiculously soft. It easily fits my laptop, agenda, wallet, and the 1,000 other items I need on a daily basis with ease. I honestly love it so much that I’m tempted to buy it in another color. The black, nude, light blue, and navy versions are all so tempting! Kendra Scott jewelry is equally versatile. I currently have four Kendra Scott pieces, and I have a feeling that number is going to grow exponentially this season. They’re a little bit pricier than the normal discount jewelry that I buy, but they don’t tarnish, fall apart, or break like the cheaper brands do! I’ve been wearing the Elle earrings and Elton bracelet non-stop, and it makes me look pulled together with minimal effort.
Please forgive me if I wear this outfit over and over this summer. I just can’t help myself. It’s too cute!
