LA Girls Trip 2013!
Sometimes you just need a week to relax with your girlfriends. I could barely control my excitement when I found out that Stephanie and Michelle were coming to visit me in California a few months ago, and the trip did not disappoint! I had the best time showing them my favorite spots in southern California, and the week absolutely flew by. I’m a bit behind on posting about this amazing week, but I thought better late than never! Stephanie shared her LA adventures here, and Michelle also made a California post (her first ever!) here if you want to read their thoughts from the week!
Century City and the Hollywood Hills
No trip to California would be complete without shopping and a trip to Hollywood. We stopped by the Century City Westfield for lunch at Rock Sugar and a little bit of celeb sighting. Of all of the places that I’ve visited in California, I always see the most celebrities at this mall for some reason. Our trip didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious as always, and the girls got to see Rob Schneider.
Later that night we visited one of my favorite spots in all of the Hollywood Hills, Yamashiro. Not only is the food incredible, but it’s where I got engaged! We had a quick dinner and then headed to Upright Citizens Brigade for an improv show!
Laguna Beach
As much as the girls wanted to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I assured them that Laguna Beach would be a much better choice. It’s honestly one of my favorite places on earth, as if you couldn’t tell from my blog post here!

We walked along Aliso Beach as usual and had lunch at one of my favorite fish taco spots, La Sirena.
Malibu and Pepperdine
My camera was so impressed with the Pepperdine views, that it decided it shouldn’t focus on me in ANY of the pictures.
Santa Monica
Beverly Hills
The girls wanted to spend some time in Beverly Hills, so we pretended to be celebs on Rodeo Drive…obviously.

The Americana at Brand
Michelle and I headed to the Americana for one of her last days in LA. It’s sort of like a mini version of The Grove, and it’s one of my favorite spots to relax!
