HP Sprout Truck Stop in Miami
A few months ago, I received the new Sprout by HP computer and 3D scanner in the mail, and it was love at first sight. The computer’s sleek design, incredible performance, and one-of-a-kind features made my little blogger heart flutter with delight. In addition to using it all-day, everyday for work, I’ve had so much fun playing around with the overhead 2D scanner and the 3D scanner. You may have seen my DIY Wrapping Paper Tutorial earlier this month, and I have a few additional tutorials up my sleeve for the holidays. Needless to say, I’m a big, BIG fan of this product, so when I got the chance to stop by the HP Sprout Experience Tour in Miami, I couldn’t say no!
The star of the day was the Sprout by HP computer. You know all of the cool things computers can do in futuristic movies? Well, the Sprout actually does all of those things, and it makes them easy. 3D scanning? No problem. Graphic design? A piece of cake. The awesomeness of this computer is something you have to experience for yourself, so HP decided to take the show on the road with the HP Sprout Experience Tour. I stopped by the truck stop at Miami Dade College, and all of the attendees were just as excited as I was. There was literally a line out the door the entire day, and for good reason: this machine is really, really cool.
As usual, I was the person asking a million questions and testing out everything. I attempted to learn how to play the piano with the Pianotime app…
…and scanned anything and everything I could with the 3D scanner.
And of course I had to watch the Dremel 3D printer work its magic. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get used to 3D printing. It’s just so fun to watch!
I had the best time hanging out with my new friends from HP, and I couldn’t believe how many new things I learned about the Sprout. I’ve been using my Sprout computer for months, and I still didn’t know about some of its features!
