Everly Skater Dress at The Boca Raton Resort
When I was a little girl, I dreamed that one day I’d live in a giant pink house. I imagined a pink mansion right by the beach with extravagant fountains, unlimited shopping, all-you-can-eat ice cream, and a poolside zoo. While the Boca Raton Resort and Club may not have a zoo, it’s basically my childhood dream come to life. The pink walls, lush greenery, and impeccable detailing create an atmosphere that rivals any storybook from my childhood, so naturally I had to run around the grounds like a little kid and take lots (understatement of the year) of photos!

Sometimes the best cure for work overload is a staycation. I live in Florida year round, but I’m inside my house typing away on my computer all day, every day. I try to get outside as much as possible, but my work deadlines and the daily rainstorm schedule don’t always align. My husband and I are both semi-workaholics, so a tropical vacation isn’t usually a possibility; however, we’re blessed to live in a state where a short drive can transport you to a lush beach that rivals any fancy destination. A day or two at the beach can clear your mind and help you remember what life is all about, and the Boca Resort is one of my favorite Florida staycation desinations.
As if you couldn’t tell from the huge smile on my face in each of my photos, I was thrilled to be away from my home office and out in the Boca Raton sunshine! Plus, it was a nice change to be dressed up in a pretty navy dress, the best nude heels ever, and my new (OBSESSED with this purse, by the way) instead of my normal t-shirt and jeans work attire.
