Lilly Pulitzer Amber Skirt at The Boca Raton Resort
When I’m on vacation, I like to keep my wardrobe simple. I want to focus on sleeping in, ordering room service, and soaking up the sunshine – not spending an hour debating if my shoes match my dress. I could tell you that I spend hours pre-planning an outfit for every item on my travel itinerary (which I try to do sometimes), but in all honesty I normally just throw a bunch of stuff in my suitcase an hour before I leave and hope for the best! Last month I had the privilege of staying at the jaw-dropping pink palace of South Florida AKA The Boca Raton Resort, and I was completely inspired by the effortlessly glamorous guests and the breathtaking views of the resort property. Everyone staying at the resort look relaxed, comfortable, and completely chic against the Boca Resort’s elegant pink backdrop, and surprise, surprise they were all wearing !
I did my best to keep up with the stylish guests and my beautiful travel companions (Kristin from Living in Color Print and April from April Golightly) during my trip last month, but I immediately went on a shopping spree as soon as I got home. The perfect weather and bright colors of my trip around the Palm Beaches reinvigorated my love for my home state, and it also inspired me to spend all of my money on new resort wear! My first post-trip purchases were the and, and after trying on this outfit I knew that I had to take a trip back down to South Florida to showcase my Boca-inspired outfit at the Boca Resort.
I’ve mentioned before that Lilly is my ultimate fashion go-to brand for vacations. Their timeless resort line is the perfect balance of classy and sassy, and it takes no effort at all to style their items! Their bold prints are an instant conversation starter, and all of their clothing is incredibly comfortable. I have never regret a Lilly purchase! As soon as I saw the in Lilly’s Lagoon print, I knew that it would be coming home with me. The water-inspired blue and green print immediately stole my heart, but the soft fabric and flattering fit sealed the deal. It’s the perfect item to bring with you on vacation because it can be styled up or down in seconds. I paired it with myfor a casual stroll around The Boca Resort, but it also looks great with a blouse and heels for a fancy dinner with friends.
Along with Lilly Pulitzer clothing, I always take myon every vacation! These leather sandals last forever, keep your feet comfortable, and match everything in your closet. They’ve been a staple in my wardrobe since high school, and if you ever meet me in person, there’s a 90% chance I’ll be wearing Jack Rogers. My jewelry staples for my most recent beach trip were theand the Fashionista’s Diary Bracelet Set and Mini Pineapple Coin Necklace set from Taudrey! Pineapples, elephants, and gold make anything cute, but these three jewelry items are all beautiful, well-made, and definitely have the Ashley Brooke seal of approval (for whatever it’s worth haha)!
