Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations
Out of all of the bloggers, YouTubers, and internet celebrites, Zoe Sugg from Zoella is my favorite person. I started watching Zoe’s channel way back in 2010, and over the years, I’ve fallen in love with her bubbly personality, feminine aesthetic, and most importantly, her authenticity, humility, and kindness. If you’re not familiar with Zoe, definitely take a look at her vlog channel, More Zoella. I guarantee you’ll become a fan after watching one or two videos. In addition to creating the cutest videos on the internet, Zoe launched her Zoella Beauty line last year. The line is absolutely adorable and filled with all sorts of whimsical bath and body products, and it’s now available in the U.S. at and .
Her most recent collection is my absolute favorite. All of the products from the feature a macaron-inspired scent that has the most delicious vanilla scent that manages to be sweet and clean at the same time. The vanilla fragrance is balanced with a little bit of a clean and soapy (in a good way) scent. Sorry, I am the worst at describing scents, but trust me – it smells amazing. Oh, and it has the cutest packaging in the entire world. Pastel, white, and gold coloring AND cute product names? Zoe, you know the way to my heart!
The first two products that I picked up from the Sweet Inspirations range are theand. The is a multi-purpose product than can be used as a bubble bath or shower gel. It produces fluffy and ultra-girly bubbles, and I find that this particular product smells slightly more soap-y than the rest of the range. I like to add a little bit of the Bath Latte while I’m running my bath, and then I’ll add in a handful of bath salts or a bath fizzer to amp up the fragrance.
While a bubble bath is great on its own, I really love layering the Bath Latte with the bath fizzer. This product is shaped like a chocolate bar, and you can break off a few pieces to give your bath an extra boost of fragrance. This fizzy product adds a light fragrance to your bath water, so you can feel relaxed without getting a headache. And can we talk about the packaging? While I love the Bath Latte and the Le Fizz bath fizzer, the next two products are my absolute favorites from the collection. I’ve been using thelotion every night after my bath/shower, and the scent is to die for. It has a vanilla base, but the fragrance isn’t sickeningly sweet. The lotion has a lightweight formula that leaves your skin smooth but not greasy, so it can be used morning or night. I’m hoping that they make a hand cream version of product too!
I have to say that I’m surprised that I love the so much. I like bath salts just as much as your average girl, but I very rarely buy them. The scalloped packaging and cutesy name were too hard to resist, and I’m so happy that I picked up this product. The Sugar Dip salts are so fragrant, and they make your bath water silky smooth. Just a small sprinkle in your bath water will make your entire bathroom smell divine!
And now we’re on to Zoella Beauty’s original launch that debuted last Christmas! The is quite possibly the world’s cutest bar of soap. As usual, Zoe knocked it out of the park with her packaging. I’ll be honest and say that it totally hurt my heart to take it out of its packaging to review a few weeks ago, but at least I have it’s beauty recorded in this photo!
Thankfully, the soap itself is just as pretty as its packaging. The white and pink soap has a light fragrance that smells like Zoella’s signature floral/soap scent mixed with a hint of strawberries and cream. The soap itself is just a bar of soap. It’s not a life-changing formula, and I find that it doesn’t wash off as well as other soaps. With that being said, I don’t think anyone is buying this soap to be wowed by the texture. It’s all about the packaging!
And last but not least, we have the andbar. Both of these products have the same chocolate bar format, adorable pacakaging, and fizzing qualities of thebar, but they both feature Zoella’s signature floral/perfume scent. I personally prefer the Sweet Inspirations line’s macaron scent, but the floral notes in these products are light and feminine. They leave you smelling fresh and clean, and honestly, who can say no to a cute bath bomb? Definitely not me.
Overall, I think Zoella’s beauty line is everything it should be. The packaging could not be cuter, and the price point of the line is extremely affordable. And more than anything, this line just screams Zoe. Even if it didn’t have her name on it, I would know that it was her line.
