Vera Wang Embrace Perfume + Giveaway

My perfume preferences tend to match my personality. I normally opt for cheerful and light scents with a touch of sweetness. Most days, I spritz fruity fragrances like a mad woman, and I leave the house radiating the scent of a pineapple or a peach. While I don’t mind smelling like a strawberry for lunch with friends, it is a little bit awkward to be a wearing such a juvenile fragrance during a business meeting or professional event. In the past, I’ve skipped applying a perfume entirely for professional situations; however, I always regret my decision.

In my daily routine, applying perfume is my final step before I walk out the door. It’s a small moment that gives me an extra boost of happiness and confidence, so a few months ago I decided that it was time I found a more mature scent. Unfortunately, most “grown-up” perfumes give me a headache. They’re strong, musky, and just too much for me. Thankfully, I found the perfect balance in the new Vera Wang Embrace perfume in Marigold and Gardenia.

While I love the experience of walking through a fresh field of flowers, most floral perfumes are far too soap-y for my taste. Vera Wang Embrace in Marigold and Gardenia mixes melon with the floral tones to create the perfect fruity-floral scent. It smells like a fancy garden party in New York or a luxurious hotel in Paris, but it’s not heavy or overbearing. Even if you’re not normally a fan of floral scents, I think you will really like this perfume.

As I mentioned earlier, most perfumes are just too strong for me, and they give me a migraine by the end of the day. Vera Wang Embrace is an eau de toilette formula, so it provides the perfect amount of fragrance without being overwhelming. When someone gets close to you, they’ll notice your beautiful scent, but you won’t announce your entrance into the party with an over-the-top fragrance. I also love eau de toilette formulas because they can be layered to create a custom scent. While the perfume is beautiful on its own, I also love layering my Marigold and Gardenia perfume with honeysuckle, orange blossom, or peach sprays when I want to add an extra bit of complexity.
