Fall Favorites with The Acorn Box

In today’s digital age, there’s nothing more exciting than receiving a physical package in the mail. when I see a box waiting on my doorstep, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! I literally jump and down clapping my hands and twirl around my house until I can find a pair of scissors to open the package. Most of my delivered packages end up being something boring like office supplies or replacement air filters that I have on auto-ship, but this week a very special package arrived: the fall Acorn Box! If you only knew how many times I’ve nearly ordered a customized notebook from May Designs! I’d get all the way through the selection process, but I never pulled the trigger because I was trying to convince myself that I didn’t need any more stationery items. Now that I am the proud owner of a custom May Designs handbook, I can safely say that I was dead wrong. I needed this notebook, and I have a feeling I also need every other item in their collection. #2: Glade Candle in Sunset Walk

Fellow candle snobs, you’re going to want to pay very close attention to this paragraph. I very rarely find affordable candle brands that I can recommend wholeheartedly. Some brands have scents that are just the tiniest bit off, and others simply give off no scent at all. The Glade collection is not one of those brands. Their limited edition candle in Sunset Walk gives any of my fancy schmancy candles a run for their money, and I have a strong suspicion that this scent will become my home’s signature autumn fragrance. Technically Sunset Walk is described as a mix of basil, oregano, parsley, dried cranberry, plum, pear, spice, and vanilla but I think it smells exactly like Abercrombie cologne mixed with freshly picked apples. It’s the perfect balance of masculine and feminine notes with just enough woodsy flair. I am terrified that this scent will disappear at the end of the season, so I will be stockpiling these candles for sure. #3: Goody Ouchless Hair Elastics

One day, I will discover the mythical creature that steals all of my hair ties, but until then, I’ll need to continue buying new hair elastics on a monthly basis. The Goody Ouchless hair elastics are always on the top of my shopping list. The metal-free design helps me to protect my hair, and the thick bands hold up to even the fullest ponytail. They’re the best, and now they come in full fall colors like metallic gold! While I can’t guarantee that I won’t lose my 30 new hair elastics by the end of the month, I can safely say that my fall braids and ponytails will be looking super fab! The Goody hair elastics are classics for a reason. They’re the best!

#4: Onyx Coffee Lab Coffee

If there’s one item that’s a non-negotiable essential for fall, it’s good coffee. The owners of Onyx Coffee Lab are my kind of people. They’re obsessed with coffee and absolute perfectionists about their coffee beans. All of their coffee is sourced through ethical trading sources, and the quality and attention to detail cannot be beat. If you’re a coffee enthusiast, you need to try their coffee immediately! This week, I’ve been loving the Ethiopian Guji Hambela blend from Onyx Coffee Lab. The flavor is smooth and slightly sweet, and I’ve had the best time brewing it in my French press each morning! I will absolutely be placing a re-order for this blend, and I can’t wait to try out some of the other varieties that they offer!

#5: The Switch Witch

I am the very proud aunt of  my precious niece and nephew, and I’m absolutely delighted to have found the perfect fall present for them. The Switch Witch visits children around the world around Halloween to magically turn candy into energy that fuels the Witchy World, but she needs a little bit of help from children. After trick-or-treating, children can choose a few pieces of their favorite candy, but then they have the opportunity to trade the rest of their candy to their Switch Witch. The Switch Witch uses magical “Switchcraft” to trade their candy for a book or toy on Halloween night! I think the Switch Witch is the perfect Halloween tradition for any family. It encourages to children not to overindulge in candy, and it’s also the perfect way to allow children to support other children – especially those with food allergies or sensitivities. I truly think this gift set will make any family’s Halloween a little bit healthier and more magical!
