The Perfect Striped Dress

If I had to live in one outfit for the rest of my life, I’d choose pajama pants and a hoodie. I love a stylish look as much as any girl, but comfort is much more important to me on a daily basis. When I find an outfit that’s as cute as it is comfy, I’m in heaven. This checks off both of those boxes. It’s as comfortable as a nightgown, and it can be dressed up or down with the addition of a few simple accessories. It was the perfect addition to my suitcase on my recent trip to the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, California. In addition to being absolutely adorable and as soft as your favorite t-shirt, it’s also a bargain. You pick up this perfect striped dress for only $14.99 at !
While we’re on the subject of comfort, I have to mention how much I love these . Despite having a 4.25″ heel, I find them to be very comfortable and easy to walk in. Right now, they’re for only $24! Plus, they’re available in three additional colors.
This outfit was perfect for our last day at the Pacific Edge Hotel. It was comfortable enough for lounging in our room, stylish enough for lunch at the Driftwood Kitchen, and light enough for a walk along Laguna Beach (with the addition of my Mott 50 cardigan, of course). In addition to being ridiculously comfortable and versatile, this dress conveniently takes up about 3 inches of your suitcase. I’m not sure it gets better than that!
P.S. I need to do a full post about this topic, but photoshoots are not as easy as they seem. Something ALWAYS goes wrong. Case in point: I put my newon the ground for maybe 10 seconds while I adjusted my shoe, and the chain managed to get lodged in the Pacific Edge Hotel’s deck. Michelle helped me pull at the chain, but it refused to come out of the dock. Thankfully the purse easily transitioned into a clutch, but the chain is the latest addition to the hotel’s decor haha! Oops!
