Naturally Pretty 5-Minute Spring Makeup Routine

This spring, the weather in Florida has been insanely gorgeous. The bright, sunshine-filled days and gentle breeze have inspired me to create naturally pretty makeup looks that aren’t too fussy or time-consuming. I want to enjoy every minute of the perfect weather and blooming flowers instead of spending an hour perfecting my eyeliner and contour. This weekend, I decided it was time to head to Target to give my beauty closet a spring makeover! I re-stocked my makeup collection with easy-to-use products that help me create an “I woke up like this” flawless complexion with minimal effort. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been loving a naturally flawless complexion, and these four products from Target are basically miracle workers. I use my hands to apply Covergirl’s Ready, Set Gorgeous liquid foundation on my face, and then I use my fingertips to blend the Pixi Correction Concentrate underneath my eyes. This powerhouse combo completely hides any imperfections on my skin without looking like a mask. It just looks like my skin but better. Since the humidity levels are on the rise, I set my foundation and concealer with a light dusting of the Covergirl Ready, Set Gorgeous powder with the e.l.f. Complexion Brush. If you’re looking for a new spring foundation routine, you’re going to want to run to Target to pick up these products!
And now onto my favorite purchase: the Pixi By Petra Palette Bronzette. This compact palette features all of the makeup you need to create a beautiful spring makeup look, and it makes my morning routine so quick and easy. I use a fluffy brush to apply one of the highlight eyeshadow shades all over my lid up to my brow bone, and then I use the same brush to blend one of the deeper eyeshadow shades into the crease of my eyelid. I finish my eye look by using the palette’s sponge-tip applicator to add one of the eyelid shades onto the center of my eye, and then I add two coats of the new Covergirl Clump Crusher Extensions Mascara. Once I’m done with my eyes, I use my e.l.f. Complexion Brush to use the palette’s bronzer underneath my cheekbones and along the edges of my face, and I use the other side of the brush to apply the Cheek Glow shade on the apples of my cheeks! Once my face is complete, I simply swipe the e.l.f. Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Pink Umbrellas across my lips, and I’m good to go.
While I’ve been following the same steps every day, I’ve been alternating which colors I use each morning. I love that the Pixi By Petra Palette Bronzette is sectioned off into highlight, lid, and crease shades because I don’t have to think about what I’m doing when I apply my makeup. I just choose one color from each trio and apply it to the correct portion of my eye. It’s kind of like color by numbers for adults but much, much prettier!
Seriously, this look probably takes about five minutes from start to finish, and you’re left with a healthy, glowing complexion every single time. It’s basically mistake-proof!
