I like to consider myself a lip balm connoisseur. The hot Florida sun does a number on my lips, so I’m constantly searching for a lip balm that will prevent chapped lips and keep my lips soft and smooth. I have a lip balm ready for use in my car, desk drawer, nightstand, and purse, and I probably have at least a dozen more tucked away in my beauty storage drawers. I’ve tried dozens of different types of lip balms, and I’ll be honest – most brands just don’t make the cut. Half of the lip balms on the market are hard, waxy, and basically a waste of money. The Vaseline Lip Therapy lip tins are a new favorite of mine. They’re clinically proven to heal dry lips, and I’m absolutely smitten with the formula. This lip balm isn’t sticky or greasy, but it keeps my lips hydrated and provides a natural shine. I’m also partial to lip balms that come in a tin, so the steel tin packaging gets an A+ too. The Vaseline Lip Therapy lip balms come in four varieties, and they’re all equally fantastic. While the Rosy Lips formula is my current favorite variety, I do have a soft spot for the original lip tin with my name printed on the packaging! As a lip balm junkie, this little detail pretty much completed my life! Is it weird to keep a lip balm on display? Because I will definitely be showcasing this lip tin on my vanity forever!
As I mentioned earlier, all four varieties are great. If you’re looking for pure moisture without any added fragrance or color, I’d recommend the original or aloe lip tins. The original tin is made with 100% pure Vaseline jelly and is completely unscented, and the aloe tin features Vaseline and aloe with a very light scent. I use both of these formulas for everything: chapped lips, lipstick prep, moisturizing cuticles, and even smoothing split ends. I’d highly recommend adding one of these tins to your purse for everday beauty emergencies!
If you prefer a lip balm with a sweet scent or added color, you’re going to want to check out the rosy lips and cocoa butter varieties. I am absolutely obsessed with the Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips tin. OBSESSED. This lip balm has an incredibly moisturizing formula, the most beautiful soft pink color, and a delicious rose, vanilla, and red berry scent. It’s the best-smelling lip product I’v ever used, and I know that I will be re-purching this lip balm over and over again! If you’re not into tinted lip balms but still want a sweet scent, check out the Vaseline Lip Therapy cocoa butter tin. It’s made with cocoa butter and has a soft cocoa and vanilla scent.
