Gettin’ Lucky
September is here, and it’s officially time to break out the pumpkin spice lattes, blanket scarves, and fall boots. This year, I’m trying to be really tactful about my fall fashion investments. I want to invest in classic styles that I can wear season after season, but I also don’t want my clothes to be boring or outdated. One of my go-to brands for classic, all-American fashion is Lucky Brand. I’ve been a fan of their jeans since high school, and I’ve recently discovered their range of shoes is equally amazing. Today I’m partnering with Zappos.com to show you how I style my favorite fall shoes from Lucky Brand in two cute fall outfit ideas. Both looks showcase how these shoes will work with your end-of-summer and fall wardrobes.
I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of fringed booties for weeks, so I jumped for joy when I saw the Lucky Brand Beeliner Fringe Booties on Zappos.com. The sleek silhouette is ultra-flattering on your feet, and the zipper and fringe detail is unique without being too trendy. I’m so excited to pair them with dresses, skirts, and pants all year long, but I knew that they’d look amazing with my new destroyed denim jeans and lace ruffle sweater.

Since the main pieces of this cute fall outfit idea were simple, I added an antiqued gold and turquoise statement necklace along with my favorite navy crossbody bag and a few gold accessories. If you’re looking for a way to re-mix your basic fall outfit, focus on changing small details. Opt for destroyed denim instead of your normal jeans, and switch your classic riding boots for fringed booties. These small changes will instantly update your favorite fall outfit. If you’re planning on wearing these booties barefoot or with thin socks, they fit true to size. If you prefer to wear thick socks with your boots, I’d size up half a size. Regardless of which size you choose, buying them on Zappos.com couldn’t be easier. I bought my Lucky Brand Beeliner Fringe Booties on the Zappos app, so I got free overnight shipping. Plus, they have an extremely good customer service department and an amazing return policy. I bought a few additional items that didn’t fit, and it took me all of two minutes to start my return.
While I’m all about boots this fall, you know that this former ballerina can’t turn down a cute ballet flat. While I was browsing Zappos.com, I spotted these gorgeous Lucky Brand Aviee in Sesame Persian Leopard. They may look like a traditional lace-up flat, but this shoe features pre-tied elastic laces, which means you don’t have to fiddle around to get your shoes to tie in the right place. In addition to being absolutely adorable, these leopard print ballet flats feel like they’re already broken in. The material is so soft, and I was shocked that they didn’t irritate my wide feet the first time I wore them out on the town. Lucky Brand offers this shoe in five additional colors, so there’s a pair to match all of your fall outfits.
I styled my Lucky Brand Aviee ballet flats with an off-the shoulder bodysuit and hunter green skater skirt. I’m obviously the world’s biggest fan of the fit-and-flare silhouette, and this ladylike ensemble fulfills all of my inner ballerina’s desires. It’s still in the 80s-90s here in Florida, but I think that this outfit will look equally fabulous with a cozy sweater once the weather cools down.

If you’re looking for a few new pieces for fall, check out the Lucky Brand line at Zappos.com. I can personally attest that the Lucky Brand Aviee and Lucky Brand Beeliner Fringe Bootie are both extremely comfortable, but the entire collection has cool California vibe that is perfect for fall. All of their pieces are well-made with vintage-inspired hardware and playful details that add personality. They make the kind of pieces that you’ll wear again and again and again. In fact, I’m so enamored with these two pieces, I might need to go on another Zappos shopping spree. Oops!
