Hello there, friends! Today I decided to share this fancy schmancy Betsey Johnson floral dress because in my real life, I’ve worn the same three outfits for the past week and a half. We’ve been getting our entire house painted and a few rooms re-floored, so the majority of our clothes are currently stored in cardboard boxes in our garage (#glamlife). While I’ve basically been living in two dresses (this one from K-Mart and this Express gem) and my favorite new , I will be thrilled to have more than three options to choose from once we officially unpack.
One of the items that I’ve missed the most has been this darling from Betsey Johnson. Betsey Johnson has taken a completely different take on their clothing collection over the past year, so if you’re aren’t a fan of their trademark bright colors and tutus, you might love their newer and more conservative line. The second I saw this floral dress, I knew it had to be mine. Even though I knew I’d inevitably outgrow it as I moved into my third trimester, this dress was so me that I had to have it – even if I won’t be able to wear it for a few months.
The feminine print, classic silhouette, and ultra high-quality fabric of the initially drew me in, and it didn’t hurt that the dress just so happened to be a perfect match for my favorite neutral accessories. My go-to Sam Edelman , (best earrings ever), andadd the perfect amount of shine to the look, and the fit and flare skirt even looks good with a baby bump!
I was around 5 months pregnant when I took these photos, and this pretty floral dress worked perfectly in one size larger than I normally wear.
