I’ve been hanging out with boys too often lately. I love spending time with my husband, his friends, my brother, and my dad, but three weeks of nearly non-stop testosterone has left me with an urge to wear anything and everything girly. A girl (especially one who runs a style blog) can only wear jeans and a t-shirt for so long. Bring on the lace, pastels, and bows! I stumbled onto this adorable aqua lace dress in Abercrombie & Fitch during a walk around Old Town Pasadena for only $25! I instantly knew it would pair perfectly with my favorite nail polish for spring,, and my new rings from Forever 21. I don’t know if I could have planned a more girly outfit if I tried, but hey- I’m an ex-ballerina. It’s kind of in my nature. An afternoon of solo shopping in pink lip gloss and high heels was enough to counteract the effects of testosterone-overload, and I was ready to return to the land of video game sound effects (gotta love boys).
