The Problem with Wearing White Dresses {Sponsored}
There are plenty of things that I love about being a woman, but unfortunately there's one thing that I hate about being a woman...and it happens every single month. To make matters even worse, I am usually completely unprepared. Somehow I can keep track of every other thing in my life, but the one consistent appointment I have every month always seems to slip my mind. Denial, I guess. And of course, I am always "reminded" on the day that I wear a white dress.
My brother is such a hunk. Sorry ladies, he's taken!
I was at a birthday party with family and friends, so I couldn't run home and change. Luckily, I had my "Just In Case" Bag with me, so I was prepared for this little emergency. I cannot encourage you enough to create a little bag like this for life's random moments. The star of the show was definitely my new favorite secret weapon, U by Kotex Click tampons. They're in super cute packaging, and the compact size fits perfectly in my Just In Case bag. As you can see from the picture, it's only slightly larger than my mini anti-bacterial gel! Despite being tiny and cute, let's just say they're extremely effective and comfortable.
Seriously, how adorable is the packaging. If you have to carry around feminine products, they might as well be in fun and petite packaging! Despite the compact packaging size, the product is full-size, so you get the level of protection that you'd expect without the bulky packaging. It's also a good idea to include pain medicine for body aches/cramps and stain remover just in case.
By the end of the night, my dress was still perfectly white, and I was fully protected. I didn't have to worry about my ensemble during the night's photo-ops because the U by Kotex products are so effective. After protecting me through several similar emergencies over the past few months, I can safely say I trust this product completely. The biggest threat to my white dress that night was my clumsiness. I nearly spilled my entire Diet Coke on my new dress, but thankfully my husband caught the glass just in time!
