The Perfect Holiday Shoes
With the holidays officially in full swing, your mailbox is about to begin overflowing with party invitations for Christmas, Hannukah, and New Year’s Eve celebrations! While I love the opportunity to get dressed up, have a laugh with friends, and indulge in a few…well, maybe a lot of holiday sweets, the endless weekend parties can take an unfortunate toll on my bank account. Between purchasing gifts for the hosts/hostesses, new party outfits, trips to the salon, and festive accessories, the costs can add up quickly. Thankfully, I’ve learned a few ways to look glamorous for any holiday party without spending a fortune!
So what’s my secret to creating a stunning holiday outfit without breaking the bank? Great shoes. Seriously, the key to any great holiday look is a fabulous pair of heels, and I think I might have found the perfect holiday shoes. Find a few show-stopping heels, and no one will even notice you wore the same dress twice or notice that your winged eyeliner isn’t perfect. The right pair of shoes can turn heads and transform any outfit from ok to wow instantly! One of my favorites from the Payless line is the red Mistletoe Broach Pump. Combined with a black cocktail dress and sparkly accessories, these shoes will be the center of attention at any party. To create this affordable holiday party outfit, I decided to get creative and re-mix items from my closet with my new shoes. I took out my favorite little black dress and added a silver glitter bow belt and a rhinestone-covered clutch.
