90% of everything I buy comes from Amazon. Amazon Prime is a miracle, and I swear it’s the best money I spend all year. While I’ve always loved shopping on Amazon for gifts, books, household necessities, everything under the sun haha, I didn’t realize how great their selection of fashion items was until last summer. I was buying so many new clothes due to my growing baby bump and stocking up on baby clothes too, and I found that time and time again, Amazon had what I was looking for at the lowest price and with the quickest shipping. Nowadays, I check Amazon before I make any online purchase just to see if I can grab it through Amazon Prime for less money or with faster shipping.
After I had Summer last fall, I basically needed an entirely new wardrobe. My pre-pregnancy clothing was too tight, and my maternity clothing was too loose. I knew I’d be losing quite a bit of weight, so I wanted to buy things that could work at a variety of weight and didn’t cost a fortune. I searched through Amazon and found this amazing faux wrap dress. Since last October, I’ve probably worn this dress at least two dozen times and have fluctuated at least twenty pounds during that time period. This dress has looked great and felt comfortable at all of those weights. Plus, it’s nursing-friendly and affordable!
Another thing I love about this dress? It’s both play and work-appropriate. I’ve worn this comfortable wrap dress everywhere from business events to meetings to holiday parties and felt great each and every time. Managing your wardrobe with a postpartum body can be rough. When your stomach isn’t back to its normal size, your boobs are swollen out of control, and your weight is fluctuating on a weekly (if not daily) basis, it’s hard to find any piece of clothing that’s functional, comfortable, and cute. This wrap dress from Amazon saved the day when I was less than two-months postpartum and in desperate need of a dress to wear to my husband’s work event. It arrived in two days and fit like a dream from day one.
Fast-forward eight months to today, and this dress still fits me perfectly. These photos were taken three months ago, and I’ve since lost an additional ten pounds. And guess what? The dress still fits great. The stretchy material will work with your body no matter what size you are, and the figure-flattering fit-and-flare design looks great on all shapes and sizes. Another great thing about this dress is that it’s nursing-friendly! The faux wrap design stays tied as you walk but the top can easily be pulled down if you’re still breastfeeding or pumping. This grey Chloe bag dupe has been one of my most-worn handbags since last fall. While this exact purse is sold out at the moment, I’ve found a nearly identical version on Amazon that’s under $50 and available in tons of colors!
