After years in prep school, I just can’t shake my love for classic preppy style. No matter what each season’s trends may be, I will always mix in a little bit of preppy style into the mix. I’ll have a boho moment every now and again, but I always come back to the pearls, cardigans, loafers, and The moment I saw this Shop 1802 (c/o) dress, I knew it had to be mine. The sheer white fabric, classic tunic silhouette, and navy lace detailing all make my inner prep smile like its the first day of a Lilly Pulitzer sale. It’s the perfect year-round dress, and you can dress it up or down to fit any event. Can you imagine how cute adding a top knot, red lips, and sparkly gold belt would be for a holiday party? If you’re looking for the perfect dress, just go ahead and buy this gem from Shop 1802. It’s comfortable, flattering, and crazy affordable.
Of course, I just couldn’t resist adding my trusty monogram necklace, my new knot bracelets from Target (close Kate Spade dupe, BTW!), the cutest little bow studs from Kohl’s, and the most perfect cognac tassel tote! I added my new favorite belt from Target (PERFECT size for cinching dresses & tops!) and my spiky taupe heels to balance out the look and prevent total prep overload.
