my new blurb wedding book + giveaway!
I have another confession to make. I STILL haven’t gotten my wedding photos printed. Yep, that’s right. A year and a half after my wedding, I don’t have a single wedding photo hanging in our apartment. The funny thing is, I’ve already given prints to all of my family members, but I didn’t keep any for us! I intended to get large prints made, but for one reason or another it never got done.
To my credit, I did attempt several times to make a photo book. It seemed like such a fun idea, until I actually started making it….and the “easy” website template still took hours and hours…and even after all that, my book didn’t look like the pretty ones on the website.

That was before I discovered . It actually IS easy- and quick! You can easily create a photo book from a favorite Facebook album or Instagram posts, or you can even create a little archive of your past blog posts! The software is extremely simple to use and allows you to create cookbooks or beautiful photo books! I think that Blurb is a great option for gifts and preserving your personal photos, but it’s also a great idea if you’d like to make a church cookbook, athletic team yearbook, or any other fundraising idea!
My pretty hardcover wedding album!
I chose to make a hardcover album, and the process only took about twenty minutes from start to finish! You can use the software to create all sorts of fancy designs, but I chose the easy option and simply uploaded my wedding album from Facebook. Best idea ever. I didn’t have to sort through my 1500+ wedding photo files, and all of my pictures were already in chronological order! Super simple, and I was thrilled with the clean, simple design!
The resolution of each picture is superb, and I love the hardcover and high-quality thick pages. I had such a great experience that I’m looking into making a cookbook of my grandmother’s recipes for her Christmas present, and I also love the idea of the Instagram album. What a great and simple way to document your year!
