My Dove Clear Tone Challenge Results
I am a naturally fair person, which is a nice way of saying my natural skin tone is about two shades darker than a ghost’s. In addition to my Snow White complexion, my skin is a little on the sensitive side. It’s a winning combination. Pale + Sensitive Skin = Splotchy Red Mess. That means any time I have a breakout or any sort of irritation, everyone is going to notice it.
Now, I’m not going to brag or anything (prepare for bragging), but I’ve gotten rather skilled at hiding the irritated red mess that is my face. Undereye circles? Breakouts? No problem- I’ve got a dozen concealers for that. Unfortunately, my skin’s sensitivity isn’t limited to my face, and my camouflaging skills don’t extend to the rest of my body. I love my concealer, but it doesn’t help with my underarm sensitivity or darkening.
Yes, I admit it. I have ugly underarms. Half of the time, they’re red and irritated, and I can’t hide any discoloration in the Florida weather. It’s basically tank top-weather all year long. My deodorant was effective, but it was irritating my skin. I was having trouble wearing some of my favorite clothes because it was rubbing my irritated skin underneath my arms, so I knew that something needed to change.
And then I met my new BFF.
Two weeks ago, I started the Dove Clear Tone challenge (you can read my post here). I had heard great things about the Dove brand from my friends, and my grandmother has sworn that Dove products have kept her skin looking young for years. As soon as I heard the rave reviews from friends and family, I raced down to the store and picked up the very last Dove Clear Tone deodorant that they had!
I’ve now been using the Dove Clear Tone deodorant for a full two weeks, and I can safely say that the Dove Clear Tone challenge was a success for me! My skin is not the least bit red or irritated, and my underarm skin tone is even and clear. I was a little bit afraid starting out that the gentle formula would not be sufficient in the heat, but I feel fresh and dry all day long. I’ve found the product to be moisturizing with a very smooth and comfortable feel. It instantly calms my skin, it has a nice scent, and I’ve noticed very little residue or transfer onto my clothing- MAJOR win. I’ve been so pleased with the results, and I’ve already bought a brand new Dove Clear Tone for my mom to try.
Whether you’re fair like me or the deepest of skin tones, I think you’d really love this product. I’ve noticed great results, and I think that it really improves the evenness of your skin tone and calms irritated and dry underarm skin. If you’re looking to switch to a new deodorant, try the Dove Clear Tone line out and take the Dove Clear Tone challenge for yourself!
