With so many holiday parties lined up over the next few weeks, I’m getting excited for good food, good music, and good company. A few things I’m not excited about are gaining a million pounds from the delicious food and more importantly- uncomfortable clothes. I love getting dressed up as much as any girl. In fact, I probably enjoy getting dressed more than the average girl (a decade and a half of ballet will do that to you), but I absolutely hate the blisters and pain that sometimes goes hand in hand with fancy clothing. This year, my plan is simple: look cute, classy, and fabulous without being uncomfortable. It’s easy to get the look from your favorite magazines or fashion blogs while still being comfortable.
For a recent Christmas get-together with friends, I threw together this cozy yet still fashionable outfit. The weather was surprisingly chilly that night, so I paired my new Kardashian Kollection jacquard print jeans with a taupe sweater and plenty of fun accessories. The look turned out to be perfect for the event.
I’ve been searching for a printed or brightly colored pair of jeans that would work for my personal style, but I hadn’t found printed denim that looked flattering on my body type. I was thrilled when I found these Kardashian Kollection jeans online on the SearsStyle website. I instantly knew that the navy jacquard print would be an easy way to try out this fall trend!
Since my outfit was very simple, I wanted to have a lot of fun with my accessories. I loved the combination of this Kardashian Kollection Section Necklace with my taupe sweater. It adds just the right amount of edginess to the outfit. This necklace is definitely going to be a staple in my winter wardrobe.
My printed mixed metal bangles and a rope ring kept the look trendy, and I brought in some Christmas spirit and a pop of color with red glitter nail polish.
I know what you’re thinking- how are those shoes comfortable? Well, these platforms are some of the most comfortable shoes that I own! The platform and cushioned sole made walking around at the party all night a breeze, and I just loved how the navy jacquard print looked against the cream suede in my shoes.
I finished the look with loose curls, simple bronze eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, and a bold cranberry lip.
I’m definitely going to keep my easy-going party look throughout the holiday season. It took such a short time to get ready, and I still got plenty of compliments from friends. Honestly, my favorite part was looking trendy but still feeling comfortable all night long.
What’s your go-to holiday party look? Is comfort a priority for you too?

Denim can be fun and fashionable if you pick the right design. For festive holiday parties, I love wearing colored or patterned jeans as opposed to the traditional blue. They’re dressy and on-trend while still being incredibly comfortable. You can get the look of wearing dress pants without the high cost or uncomfortable feel! I loved wearing the Kardashian Kollection Kim Skinny Jeans in a Navy Jacquard print. They looked so similar to a pair of designer pants I saw on one of my favorite fashion blogs, but they were so much less expensive! I love when I can get the look for less money. I was incredibly lucky that both the jeans and necklace that I wanted from the Kardashian Kollection at Sears were on sale plus I used my Shop Your Way rewards card. I earned 1,108 points because it was a holiday bonus period, so I have $1 to spend on my next purchase! If you don’t have Shop Your Way card yet, why not? Who doesn’t love saving money!

You can’t go wrong with girly accent pieces. A little touch of bling and inspiration made the outfit more “me.”
It wouldn’t be an Ashley Brooke outfit without at least one bow. This sparkly bow ring makes me smile every time I look at it.
