Easy Christmas Manicure
Thanks to Q-Tips for sponsoring today’s post!
Christmas is just around the corner, and I just couldn’t resist creating an easy Christmas manicure for the holiday parties I’m attending this weekend. Despite being incredibly cute and festive, this manicure is ridiculously simple to re-create. I am NOT skilled at nail art. In fact, I can barely paint my nails without getting the polish all over my cuticles. If you’re looking for an easy mani that’s perfect for Christmas morning, follow the easy tutorial below!
Step 1: For the first step, you’ll want to apply two coats of your favorite red nail polish to each nail. Red can be especially tricky to apply as it will stain your skin and cuticles if you accidentally paint outside your nail bed. If you make a mistake, don’t worry! Simply dip a Precision Tip Q-Tip into nail polish remover, and you’ll be able to easily erase any mistakes!
Step 2: After your red nail polish is completely dry, add 1-2 layers of dark red glitter polish to each ring finger. As usual, I got my glitter polish all over my hands, but having my handy little stash of Q-Tips next to my manicure station helped me clean up my nails.
Step 3: The third step is my favorite part the manicure- the gold glitter heart. Simply take another Precision Tip Q-Tip and dip it into a bottle of gold glitter nail polish. Make sure the Q-Tip is thoroughly saturated with nail polish and place three small dots of nail polish onto your ring finger. You’ll want to create an upside down triangle with the three dots: two dots on top, one dot on the bottom. To create the heart, simply flip your Q-Tip around and use the dry end to smudge the dots into a heart. It’s ridiculously easy to accomplish, but your friends will think you’re a manicure superstar!
Step 4: The final step is to add a thick coat of your favorite glossy top coat!
In less than 10 minutes, you’ll have the cutest Christmas manicure!
If you’re a little bit clumsy with nail polish too, be sure to pick up a box of the Precision Tips Q-Tips! They will help you easily erase any beauty mistake from smeared nail polish to uneven eyeliner!
