Bundled Up for Fall: Warm and Cozy Fashion

There are few things that I love more than waking up to a crisp autumn breeze. The slight chill in the air somehow makes everything seem a bit more festive and leaves me dreaming about pumpkin patches, apple picking, and hay rides. The cool fall weather also means a change in wardrobe. It’s time to trade in my summer sandals for warm boots and my breezy tank tops for soft and cozy sweaters. This fall, I’m all about layering warm and cozy fashion pieces to create looks that are stylish and comfortable!
This layered look protects me from the chilly air, but the playful silhouette and the variety of textures featured keeps the look modern and fresh . To create this feminine fall look, I paired my favorite Seventeen Lace Skater Skirt from summer with a cream Seventeen Open Knit Sweater and a pair of Studio S black tights for warmth. Tights are an easy way to transition summer staples into fall essentials, so don’t put away your favorite skirts and dresses from the warmer months just yet. Simply add a pair of opaque tights, and your look will instantly be appropriate for autumn!
When the temperature drops, I’m always tempted to stay underneath the covers all day. Thankfully, this Seventeen Open Knit Sweater from Sears is just as soft as a baby’s blanket, and it’s so cozy paired with the Seventeen Burnout Scarf in burgundy. I love the way the distressed wine fabric contrasts against my cream sweater, and the loop design makes styling the scarf incredibly easy. Simply wrap the loop around your neck twice, and you look like you’re a pro at styling scarves! Trust me, I’m a native Floridian and have absolutely no idea how to tie a scarf. If I can do it, anyone can do it!
As always, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to wear my Studio S Logan Handbag. After buying this handbag at Sears earlier this summer, I’ve been wearing it nearly every day despite having a collection of other purses to choose from. It’s the perfect size, the perfect color, and the leather tassel is absolutely adorable! Classic pieces easily transition from season to season, and I have a strong feeling that this handbag will be my trusty companion for the remainder of the year!
As soon as I spotted these black boots, I knew they’d be the perfect finishing touch to this girly fall look. The Bongo Sophie Bootie needs to be in every girl’s closet this season. Whether you’re wearing them with skinny jeans or a skirt and tights, these black and gold buckled boots instantly make any outfit a little cooler. Plus, the chunky heel makes them extremely comfortable. Whether you’re running errands or picking out the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, these booties will keep you looking great without killing your feet.
I can already tell that today’s ensemble is going to be my look of choice this season. As usual, I was able to find everything that I needed to create a magazine-worthy look for affordable prices at my local Sears. It seems like my closet is turning into a Sears catalog, but I can’t help it! All of the items I’ve picked up at Sears this year have become staple pieces in my collection, and you just can’t beat the quality or prices at other stores. Honestly, why would I pay more for designer labels when I can find the same amazing styles at low prices at Sears? If you’re looking for a few new layering pieces for fall, head to Sears and pick up the items I featured in this post. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the variety of adorable items, and you’ll definitely be in love with the low prices.
