blogmas {day 1}: burt’s bees intense hydration line
So several weeks ago, I posted on my Instagram about receiving the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration skincare line from BzzAgent. If you’re not familiar with BzzAgent, it’s an awesome free service that lets you try out new products and share your thoughts. Join now- you won’t regret it. Anyways, I’ve been testing out the line, so I thought I’d share my thoughts with you!
Just so you can understand where I’m coming from, I have combination (normal-oily) skin that tends to breakout a small amount once or twice a month. My skin tends to be slightly less oily this time of year, so I thought that maybe this line would work alright for me in the fall/winter. I don’t think these are bad products, but I just think that my skin is not dry enough to benefit from this entire line as they’re intended to be used. If you have extremely dry skin, this line would probably work great for you- so don’t be dissuaded my review!
: I actually like this cleanser for removing my makeup. Because it’s moisturizing, it definitely helps emulsify the makeup off; however, it’s definitely too moisturizing for me to use on an everyday basis unless I use a more clarifying cleanser after removing my makeup with this cleanser and following up with a toner. I think this would be a great cleanser for those with dry, sensitive or irritated skin. It would probably be a lifesaver for sunburns!
: Again, this product is really nice, but it was just way to moisturizing for my current skin type to use on my entire face. I’ve actually been loving using this product as an eye cream, a spot treatment for any dry spots on my face, and on my entire neck. I’ll also confess that I have used this night cream as a hand cream/body lotion before. Yep, it’s that thick. Despite being super moisturizing, I don’t find it to be too greasy. I have used this product more than the others, but just not as it’s intended to be used 🙂
: This mask is the only product in the line that I can use as it’s supposed to be used. I’ve been using this mask once a week when my face needs a boost, and it leaves my skin smooth and slightly plumped. I always still wash, tone, and moisturize my face after using masks, so the extra moisture doesn’t bother me with this product!
: I received a few sample packets of this moisturizer, and just like the nighttime moisturizer, it’s way too heavy for me to use daily. I might consider using this as a nighttime treatment a few times a week, but I can also use this product as an eye cream, spot treatment, and hand cream/lotion. Despite being a bit lighter than the night cream, it is definitely still a heavy duty moisturizer.

Overall, I think the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydrating line has some great products that dry, mature, or sensitive/irritated skin will benefit most from! The line also features the , but I have not tried that out yet. Have you tried this line out? If so, what did you think of the products?
As mentioned above, I received these products from BzzAgent for review purposes. All opinions stated are my honest thoughts.
