The Best Full Coverage Concealers for Dark Circles
I feel like concealer is the most underrated makeup product. Metallic eye shadows and brightly-colored lipsticks are more flashy in makeup displays, but at the end of the day, those products wouldn’t look half as good on your face if your concealer wasn’t working its magic. So why am I so passionate about concealers? Well, it mainly has to do with the fact that I have horrible hereditary under eye circles that are often made worse by seasonal allergies. It doesn’t matter how much sleep I get or how many eye creams I use; my dark circles aren’t going away. Thankfully, I have own a handful of the best full coverage concealers that perk up my tired under eyes, and today I’m sharing them with you. If you’re looking for the best full coverage concealers for dark circles and blemishes, you’ve come to the right place. Keep reading to learn about the best concealers on the market!
(available in ): I can’t even put into words how much I love this concealer. I currently own four tubes. Yes, I did just say that I own four tubes of the same concealer. In my defense, three of the tubes are different colors, but still, it shows how much I love this stuff. So what’s the reason for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer stealing the #1 spot on my ride or die makeup list? It covers everything, blends like a dream, and stays in place all day long. If you need industrial-strength concealer, trust me, you’re going to want to order a tube (or four) of this miracle concealer for dark under eye circles. I can safely say that this concealer is my #1 recommendation!
(available in ): Before the Tarte Shape Tape concealer stole my heart, I almost exclusively used the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It has a thick and creamy formula that covers dark circles like a champ, and it sets to a satin finish. If you have normal, combination, or oily skin, I think you’d love this full-coverage concealer. If you want to see a flashback of my makeup favorites, you can read why I selected this concealer as one my top beauty products of 2013.

Oh, and did I mention that it’s under $5? Definitely a winner from the drugstore!
Physicians Formula #InstaReady Concealer (available in 3 colors): This full-coverage concealer from Physicians Formula is relatively new to the market, but it packs a big punch in a little bottle. It has a liquid-y texture that reminds me of MAC Pro Longwear concealer, and the pigmentation and coverage is similar to MAC as well. If you want full coverage with a lightweight feel, this affordable concealer from the drugstore is a great pick.

Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer (available in 6 colors): This fancy-schmancy concealer is legendary in the beauty community. Dermablend Quick-Fix Concealer (available in 10 colors): Dermablend is known for their high-coverage products, and this stick concealer lives up to their reputation for fabulous products. It has a thick and slightly sticky texture, so it will grab onto blemishes and keep them concealed all day long.
(available in 6 colors): This product is another cult classic concealer that’s been a bestseller for years. It packs so much coverage in such a small tube, and the formula is packed with moisturizing ingredients that are fabulous for dry skin. It’s also available in an illuminating version if you’d like even more brightness in your under eye area. Due to the high moisture content, this concealer doesn’t dry down on your skin, so I like to set it with a translucent setting powder for the ideal finish.
Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème (available in 21 colors): This concealer has heavy-duty coverage and a phenomenal cover range. If you’re a super pale girl, you’re gonna love this line. Kat Von D even made a pure white concealer for the lightest of light skin tones. Whether you’re trying to cover up dark circles or mask a breakout, this product is one of the best full coverage concealers on the market.
Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo Concealer (available in 5 colors): Back in the day, I was actually an HSN model for Dermablend, and I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the PR team and women who had worn Dermablend for their entire life. While this concealer isn’t quite as intense as their legendary Cover Creme (the fullest coverage foundation available on the market), it is absolutely fabulous for everyday use. It has a lightweight and moisturizing formula that glides across your under eye circles while providing the perfect amount of coverage. Dermablend is truly such a fabulous brand, so if you’re in the market for any full-coverage products, I’d definitely check out their line.
