Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, and this year I’m going all out! We’re throwing a huge Halloween party at our new home, so I knew that I had to find a Halloween costume that was cute but still functional for my hostess duties. After searching through my closet and browsing the beauty section at Walmart, I decided to try out a fairy look this Halloween! I picked up bright eyeshadows, glitter fairy wings, loose glitter, and Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes at Walmart and headed home to play dress up. This easy Fairy makeup is so easy to replicate, and it’s perfect for last minute Halloween parties!
Start off by evening out your skintone with your favorite concealer, foundation, and pressed powder. Next, create a chiseled cheekbone by sweeping a glowy bronzer underneath your cheekbones.
After contouring your cheekbones, apply a hot pink blush to your cheeks. Be sure to use about twice as much blush as you normally would. Once your eyeshadow look is completed, you’ll need the extra pop of color on your cheeks! Next, use a flat brush to apply champagne cream eyeshadow across your eyelids.
Now it’s time for the fun part! Use a flat eyeshadow brush to apply a shimmery teal eyeshadow across your eyelids. Then add even more color by applying bright purple eyeshadow to the inner third of your eyelid and up to your browbone. The goal is to create a blended, watercolor-type effect.
Use a bright blue eyeliner to draw a thin line underneath your bottom lashes. Next, apply a fluttery pair of false lashes to your top lid to make your eyes pop!
Use a black liquid eyeliner to draw a thick line over the band of the false lashes and wing the end of the eyeliner to make your eyes appear larger. Apply one coat of mascara to the top and bottom lashes to help the false lashes blend into your natural lashes.
We’re finally at the finish line! Complete the look with hot pink lipstick and lots of pink glitter!
This whimsical look is so fun and pretty, and all you need to do is add a pair of fairy wings and a cute outfit! If you’d like to create an even bolder look, use hair chalk to tie-dye your hair or use a pastel-colored foundation instead of your normal skin tone!
As much as I love dressing up for Halloween, it’s always a pain to remove my makeup at the end of the night. False lashes, eyelash glue, bright eyeshadows, and glitter can be impossible to remove, and I end up with stained and irritated skin. Thankfully, I will no longer have that problem because I’ve found the perfect cleansing towelettes that remove everything. That’s right, I said everything.
With only one Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelette, I was able to remove all of my Halloween makeup (including my eyelash glue) in seconds. My skin felt refreshed and clean afterwards, and I didn’t experience any irritation at all!
Now that you’ve seen my Halloween fairy makeup tutorial, it’s your turn to show off your skills for the #NeutrogenaFaceOff! Show how you create a fun Halloween look and how you use Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to remove the look at the end of the night!
