How to Improve Your Skin While You Sleep + Giveaway

I’m not someone who likes to wake up early every morning to complete a thirty minute beauty routine. I like to take care of my skin, but I’m just not going to sacrifice precious beauty sleep to slather on ten serums each morning. Any product that offers the benefits of multiple products with only one application always peaks my interest, so the Montagne Jeunesse Renew You masks naturally caught my eye. The masks claim to improve your skin while you sleep, so I decided to put this product to the test!

A weekly mask has always been my favorite part of my skincare routine. Masks seem like a luxurious and relaxing treat, but they provide gentle exfoliation and help to clear clogged pores. By clearing out your pores, your day-to-day skin products can penetrate more deeply and work more effectively. As much as I love the skincare benefits, I mainly like scaring my husband in my crazy mask and sending ridiculous Snapchats to my friends!

The Montagne Jeunesse Renew You masks couldn’t have been simpler to use. They’re made with 100% bamboo, and the soft fabric is soaked in a serum. Simply apply the mask to your face and relax for ten minutes. After you discard the mask, rub the remaining serum into your skin and let it work its magic as you sleep. I decided to try out the Fruit Enzyme mask (the line also features a Pure Oils version) and see how the natural enzymes from papaya and pineapple would improve my skin.

The Fruit Enzyme mask had a light tropical fruit scent, and it felt cooling on my skin during the first ten minutes. After removing the mask, I rubbed the remaining serum into my skin (which improves circulation!) and went to sleep. The mask felt like a very light moisturizer on my skin and didn’t bother me at all. When I woke up, my skin was so incredibly smooth soft, and it still smelled like pineapple! I might be imagining things, but I could’ve sworn that my forehead wrinkles didn’t seem as noticeable, and my skin was hydrated without being oily. Since I was having a good skin day, I just added a touch of mascara and lip balm and headed out the door.

If you’re looking for an easy and affordable way to improve your skin, check out the Montagne Jeunesse Renew You masks at Ulta ($14.99 for a pack of four). With a once-a-week application, you can gently exfoliate and deeply moisturize your skin, which helps to reduce breakout and wrinkles while improving the overall condition of your skin.

My favorite part of my beauty routine is usually masks! I have oily, acne prone skin so a deep cleansing mask is great for me!

skinstuffbykaty.blogspot.com

My favorite part of my beauty routine is washing my face. It's very simple (washcloth & CeraVe) but I feel so refreshed afterwards, especially during the summer months.
